Join us for a virtual walk through Split, Croatia led by a native resident. During this tour Lea will tell us why the Jewish community in Split enjoyed a special status and why Split would not be the same without it! Split is a relatively small city with a dominantly Catholic tradition, however the Jewish heritage in Split had a considerable influence on the local economy – they built a free port and opened the first bookshops. The Jewish community of Split is one of the oldest in Europe.
