Words on Wheels – SWCPL’s Homebound Service

​The South Whitley Community Public Library provides delivery service to patrons who are unable to come to the library due to extended or acute illness, physical disabilities or other extenuating circumstances. This service is provided to seniors and other homebound persons of any age who live independently or in senior housing facilities. To qualify for homebound delivery service, a person must be a resident of South Whitley (Cleveland Township) or Larwill (Richland Township), be unable to visit the library in person, and have no one in the household able to visit the library to obtain materials for the homebound individual.Selection of materials is made by library staff based on patron interests and requests. Audiovisual materials as well as books may be selected. Materials will be delivered on a schedule convenient for both you and the delivery person. Loan periods are based on the delivery schedule and renewals are permitted unless there are holds on the materials.If you or someone you know would benefit from this service, please contact the library at 260-723-5321, or complete the application and return it to the library, or mail it to:
