On the eve of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, join us when author Barbara Morrow shares the story of two Auburn, IN residents, a young attorney and a music teacher who were in the thick of the things as World War II raged in Europe. Though their paths never crossed while serving, their letters home are interwoven with narrative to tell the story of their WWII experiences. Morrow’s book gives readers a first-hand look at the hardships, strain and daily life of two people serving their country. The book is available at the library and will be available for purchase the night of the presentation.
