Are you interested in a book that South Whitley Community Public Library does not own? There may still be a way for you to read that book!
- If the item (book, audiobook or movie) was released in the last year, you may submit a Suggestion for Purchase Form. These are available at the library’s main desk or you can complete the form on our homepage.
- If the item you want is part of the collection of another library in our Evergreen Indiana consortium and was added to their collection over six months ago, it may be requested through Interlibrary Loan. You can request it online via the My Account tab on the library’s catalog. You may also request the item by speaking with someone at the library’s Information Desk, who will show you how to put a hold on the item.
Items borrowed from other libraries are subject to a loan period set by that library. These may vary, but the due date will be noted on each item when it is received. Renewals may be possible as long as they are in compliance with Evergreen circulation policy.
It is a privilege for South Whitley Community Public Library patrons to borrow items from other facilities. If borrowed items are lost or damaged your account may be suspended.
If you need assistance with interlibrary loans, please contact a member of the library staff at 260-723-5321.
