April 18 @ 6:00 pm

Author Barbara Olyenik Morrow introduces us to Gene Stratton-Porter, an Indiana writer and photographer from the early 20th century. Stratton-Porter’s works celebrated nature and urged readers to conserve and protect nature and wildlife. This remarkable woman lived life on her own terms – and in the process, helped push back society’s boundaries for women. Stratton-Porter also was instrumental in kick-starting the nation’s conservation movement.
